April Events

Join us this April for a film showing Wednesday April 26 and an Artist Reception April 30.

Showing of the film, “Merchants of Doubt” Wednesday April 26 at Snow Farm Vineyard. If you wonder about climate change here is the movie to see. There will be a free public shoiwng on the documentary film from 7-8:30 pm. Doors will open at 6:30 pm for refreshments before the movie with a discussion to follow. The film is produced by Robert Kenner. The film is based on the book by Naomi Oreskes, Professor of history of science at Harvard University and Erik Conway, Historian of Science from the California Institute of Technology. The film shows how corporations created doubt about the global climate findings of scientists. The film will be a wonderful prelude to the climate march on Saturday April 29th in Montpelier. All are invited to attend.

The Artist reception for the Monet Mamas are a group of six Friends who meet once a week in each others homes to discuss, eat gourmet food, paint and laugh.  These artists will be showing their work inside the tasting room until May 2o.  Come in Sunday to meet the artists and sip some wine.

Mud season this year has been particularly awesome.  “God gave us dirt and dirt don’t hurt.” commented a few pruners walking back from the vineyard with mud caked knees.  If you are a crafter and interested in grape vines please contact Nick Lane by calling his cell at (802) 324-5507.  Come out to the West Shore this Mud Season and don’t worry the road is paved.
