Painting in the Vineyard
Jun 26 @ 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Paint and Sip Description

Grape vines, wine bottles, and the beauty of the Champlain Islands will inspire the start of your painting, and you will be encouraged to branch out from there. You will create your own unique painting, using various types of acrylics to create a one of a kind piece. Beginning with a series of guided exercises, you will have fun making your own creations in a supportive, sharing and encouraging atmosphere. You’ll learn to create from your soul, not a list of rules or “can’ts” or “shouldn’ts” or “have to’s”. Previous students have said about these workshops “I haven’t had this much fun since kindergarten!” Limit: 10 students. Please register by June 19. Full refund prior to June 19 only.

Fee: $120 (this is a two day event.)

Get 20% off all wine purchases for the days you attend the workshop.

Please email the instructor: Lynn.Cummings@uvm.edu to register and to obtain the supply list.

Summer Concert Series – Rhythm Rockets
Jun 29 @ 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Join us to celebrate our wine.  Snow Farm Vineyard’s Summer Concert Series “Music in the Vineyard” is Vermont’s longest running free concert series.   The band sets up on the Atrium Stage and plays out toward the vineyard and Lake Champlain.  Our tranquil setting picks up with excitement as guests pull in and find a spot on the green to lay down a blanket or set up low chairs.  Soon music fills the air and people  begin to dance.  It’s been said before that they vibrations help the grapes grow.

Our live summer concert music series presents a variety of music to satisfy all tastes – from classical to jazz , swing, bluegrass, country, pop, classic rock. All concerts are free and tickets are not required. Concerts are held every Thursday evening June through August, weather permitting. Picnicking begins at 5 p.m. and music starts at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 8:30 p.m. Bring your own chairs and blankets.

Wine and beer are available for purchase. Alcohol purchased off-site may not be brought on-site. (The Concerts were started and continue to be a celebration of our wine and vineyard.  Keeping land in agriculture and joining together to celebrate as a community is the spirit of the music series.)

Food is available onsite from Pizza Papillo with crafted flat bread pizzas on concert nights.  Sausage Shack serving up lobster rolls, handout fries and more.  Rookies Root Beer is available for purchase as well as Homemade Island Ice Cream.
