Ripening is upon us in the Vineyard as grapes begin their final stage of growth before they are ripe and ready for harvest. It’s been a great growing season, from when the buds first began to swell on the vine to bloom into bunches. Now the grapes are in a stage called veraison, when the berries soften and change color as they being to ripen. Harvest is just around the corner.
