game to give us another try. And we have just the bird. Will it be a chicken on steriods? Well, we're going to keep it a surprise, lest anyone yell, "fowl". If you are interested in attending this year's dinner, the tentative date is November 16th and you can make reservations or get more information by calling the Highgate Manor at (802) 868-9007.
AND THE SNOW FARM SAGA CONTINUES
So, if you're a regular recipient of our newsletter, you've read in the past about Kate March. She started here as an intern, then, afraid of the real world, stayed on for a year after her graduation from UVM (which lead to Brian, her protégé, who started as an intern under Kate's tutelage, replaced Kate upon his graduation from UVM and shows no signs of ever leaving here). Anyway, Kate is now job hunting in Seattle. And the reason that I mention it is because she e-mailed me to say that she needed a letter of recommendation from me and, in exchange, would send back a key to one of our tractors that she "accidentally" took out West with her. Well, Kate, that's called "extortion", and if you enjoy "shakedowns" so much, where were you when we were trying to get people to invest in the vineyard?. And it just so happens that we made copies of that key! And, seriously, Kate, after reading these newsletters, would you really trust a letter of recommendation from me to garner your dream job?
But despite Kate's lack of good judgment, if any of you in the Seattle area are looking for a great employee (who won't lose keys, but may have a problem in returning them), I can put you in touch with Kate.
As for the rest of you, thanks for the continued support.
Harrison
